The Foodsure creates scalable effervescent tablet products by carrying out systematic R&D and stability testing. Our technology guarantees sound technical, non-compliant and commercially feasible formulations.
1. Idea Validation
Our product objective, immunity, hydration, energy, multivitamin, electrolytes or speciality nutrition, is defined. The target audience, dosage needs, regulatory category and price positioning are assessed to determine whether it is possible.
2. Product Concept Development
The tested concept is developed into a specific effervescent concept, such as the size of the tablet, the dose strength, dissolution duration, flavour profile, and type of packaging (tubes, strips, bottles).
3. Selection of Ingredients and Prototyping
The active ingredients (acids (citric/tartaric), carbonates (sodium bicarbonate), binders, sweeteners, and flavour systems are chosen in terms of compatibility, stability and compressibility. The prototypes prepared in labs are used to test the rate of effervescence, taste masking and hardness of the tablet.
4. Formulation Optimisation
The dampness of the product, flowability, compression force in the pills and the dissolution duration are fine-tuned to attain uniform tablet behaviour. The trials of R&D guarantee the homogeneity of weight, solubility, and stability at various storage conditions.
5. Stability, Compliance, and Performance Testing

At Foodsure, a food product development timeline starts with market research and concept finalisation, and if necessary, goes to recipe development, lab trials, and sensory validation. After that, shelf life testing is conducted, FSSAI compliance checks are run in parallel, costing and COGS are finalised, and the product is validated through a pilot run of 50-500 kg.
