At Foodsure, we develop commercially viable, stable and consistent ketchup production recipes, which satisfy consumer expectations and production needs.








We specialise in traditional, low-sugar, preservative-free, and customised ketchup varieties. We maximise tomato solids, sweetness/acidity ratio, viscosity, colour stability and cost efficiency, in order to achieve a smooth-flow production process and extended shelf life.














Foodsure assists brands with the idea to commercial launch with a manufactured ketchup formula. We integrate ingredient science, processing feasibility and regulatory alignment to provide market-ready and affordable products.
Our positioning of the product is first defined: regular, premium, low-sugar, and kids-centric, or clean-label. Market demand is congruent with target consumer, price positioning, packaging format, preservative strategy and regulatory requirements.

The concept that is validated is implemented into a structured concept of ketchup, outlining the level of tomato solids, the level of sweetness versus acidity, the level of spices, the degree of viscosity, and the nutritional goals. At this stage, product claims and label positioning will be carried out.

The quality of tomato paste, sweeteners, vinegar, salt, spice extracts, stabilisers and preservatives is all well chosen. Lab prototypes are produced to achieve optimal flavour balance, colour stability, mouthfeel, and pourability and inhibit syneresis or separation.

The formulation is optimised for cooking, homogenisation, pasturisation and filling environments. Modifications in viscosity stability, heat-resistance, batch consistency and flowing properties are made to meet automated production line requirements.

Flavour harmony and mouthfeel are enhanced by sensory refinement. Microbial control, testing of compatibility of packaging, moisture and acidity levels and nutritional validation are part of shelf-life planning to guarantee regulatory compliance.

We set our quality standards, Standard operating parameter and scale-up validation in place so that the ketchup formulation is ready to be produced, scalable, compliant and commercially feasible to enter the market.

At Foodsure, a food product development timeline starts with market research and concept finalisation, and if necessary, goes to recipe development, lab trials, and sensory validation. After that, shelf life testing is conducted, FSSAI compliance checks are run in parallel, costing and COGS are finalised, and the product is validated through a pilot run of 50-500 kg.
This well-organised method covers all stages of work from ensuring the product is technically feasible, getting it ready for the regulations, keeping the costs under control, and the last step being the commercial production.
